Buon Giorno, Dear Travelers!

Apulia or Puglia – however you choose to say it – is the bountiful heel of the boot of Italy. Still relatively undiscovered by the tourist set, it retains the cultural charm of the simple life combined with a rich historical heritage inherited from the Normans, Pisans, Romans and Greeks.

Our tour will explore the southeast region beginning in Bari and we’ll continue south along Italy’s heel. In our travels, we will discover small towns rich in baroque and medieval architecture, taste authentic cuisine made from fresh local ingredients and marvel at lovely scenery. We’ll even visit two UNESCO world heritage sites!

At the end of this very special journey, if you are not ready yet to return home, we welcome you to join our tour to Roseto Valfortore, the Valley of the Roses with a cousin city in our own Pennsylvania. In the Gargano Peninsula, we’ll find rocky seashores reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast, Padre Pio’s San Giovanni Rotondo, and the mystical pilgrimage site of San Angelo. We specially planned these two trips so they can be taken individually or together for a once-in-a-lifetime look at Italy’s undiscovered gem. Call today for the Roseto Valfortore brochure.

If your roots are in South Italy, or if you share a love for all things Italian, come with us on this very special cultural visit.

Ciao,

Gwen
