Dear World Travelers
Our travelers deserve the best and that is just what we deliver. This istruly a very special trip to Egypt – special in the seldom-traveled sites we’ll visit, in the luxurious 5-star accommodations we’ll enjoy, and special in the group of citizen diplomats with whom it will be our pleasure to travel. So that we may savor each moment, we have planned a relaxed 15-day itinerary with time for exploration, education and relaxation. Of course we’ll avoid Egypt’s summer heat and enjoy the prime cooler season in November.
We’ll begin our odyssey at the famed and prestigious Nile Hilton, Cairo’s first luxury hotel. We won’t miss the city that Pharaoh Akhenaten built and where he resided with his beloved wife Nefertiti. Then, we embark on a seven-night cruise aboard the five-star Abercrombie & Kent Sunboat III. We’ll enjoy every luxury and unmatched service while we cruise off the beaten track, passing through some of the most beautiful scenery along the Nile including the seldom visited (but exquisite) Abydos and Dendera Temples.
Of course, we’ll also experience the well-known wonders of Egypt – the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley of the Kings & Queens, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Sakkara and Memphis.
If your travel schedule will allow for a slightly longer holiday, join us for the post-trip extension to the Sinai. We’ll visit the Red Sea resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh. For the really adventurous you have the option (at no additional cost) to trek by camel for a sunrise breakfast at the summit of Mt. Moses – where Moses received the ten commandments – and visit St. Catherine’s Monastery on the site of the burning bush.
