Dear World Adventurer,
Join us in one of the most ideal locations on the planet to observe the total solar eclipse on August 1st. It is inarguably one of the rarest celestial events. We will admire this phenomenon from Hovd, which is perfectly in the Path of Totality. Plus, the lack of precipitation in the desert gives us great odds for clear skies so we can fully enjoy this unique event.
On our tour we will also have the opportunity to meet many nomadic people and see how the Mongols live their daily lives. We will stay in the centrally located 4-star Ulaanbaatar Hotel as well as traditional Ger camps (pronounced “gears” and also called yurts). We will experience the customary nomadic lifestyle first-hand, while still enjoying the convenience and service of modern life toilets, showers and dining room.
Another key aspect of Mongolia is its rich dinosaur history. There have been many fossils and other prehistoric animal remains found in this region. These amazing finds will be admired at the Mongolian Museum of Natural History and at Bayan Zag’s “Flaming Cliffs”. Seeing these ancient wonders are a life long treasure which won’t be soon forgotten.
Between the solar eclipse, the cultural aspects, the natural beauty and the fascinating history of this country, this should be a fantastic tour. We will only take a maximum of 15 travelers, so don’t miss out on this extraordinary opportunity!
